Having earned his B.A. at Georgetown University, he returned home to take his J.D. at the University of Puerto Rico. He practiced law for a number of years, before being appointed a United States Immigration Judge. Following this, Mr. Bracete decided to fulfill his longtime wish to see more of the world and became a U.S. Foreign Service officer, a profession he followed for six years. Currently, he has resumed his law career. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Bracete is a philatelist who also enjoys reading the works of Franz Kafka and Nassim Taleb.
