Jórunn Ragnarsdóttir war von 1985–2020 Partnerin und geschäftsführende Gesellschafterin des in Stuttgart ansässigen Architekturbüros Lederer Ragnarsdóttir Oei. Sie lehrte zudem als Professorin für Architektur an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, war in zahlreichen Kommissionen, etwa dem Baukollegium Berlin und dem Baukollegium Zürich tätig, und hat an zahlreichen Preisgerichten mitgewirkt. Im Jahr 2021 hat sie zusammen mit Arno und Sölvi Lederer das Büro lederer ragnarsdóttir architekten in Berlin gegründet. Arno Lederer war Gründer und geschäftsführender Gesellschafter des in Stuttgart ansässigen Architekturbüros Lederer Ragnarsdóttir Oei. Parallel dazu lehrte er als Professor in Stuttgart und Karlsruhe und wirkte an diversen Preisgerichten mit. Als gefragter Vortragsredner engagiert er sich im baupolitischen Bereich und setzt sich auch schreibend für gute Architektur und überzeugenden Städtebau ein. Im Jahr 2021 hat er zusammen mit Jórunn Ragnarsdóttir und Sölvi Lederer das Büro lederer ragnarsdóttir architekten in Berlin gegründet.
