Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationAmanda the Doodler Lafferry discovered her inner doodler around the turn of the century, when she began experimenting with lines and simple shapes and combining them to create unique, detailed artwork. At the time, she worked in a school; and it wasn't long before students and teachers alike were asking her to create custom coloring pages. Cats, dogs, horses, and tigers were among the subjects of her early work. Family and friends encouraged her to publish a coloring book of her artwork, which she finally did for the first time in 2012. Since then, she has produced more than half a dozen coloring books in the Doodle Art to Color (also called Doodle Art to Color Deluxe ) series. As a writer, Amanda had her start in elementary school. She wrote her first poem in third grade, and has been writing poetry, songs and children's stories ever since. An avid reader, she always KNEW that one day she would be a writer. Her dream of having one of her stories published came to fruition in February of 2014 with the release of her first book, The Legend of Owl.
