Overview

This book is intended to engage children on the subject of abuse and boundaries. Boundaries are such an essential part of life, and the key to surviving. Every human being, including children, has the basic human right to establish boundaries for their survival and quality of life. It is so important that children learn that they too have a voice that deserves to be heard, as they are both a part of this world and our future! How we shape their values in childhood will determine what kind of future and society we will have to look forward to. In a world with growing corruption and perverse values, children need an updated guide to remind them of what has true value, the value they deserve to be treated with, and how to recognize when those values have been violated. Abuse comes in many forms, whether domestic or governmental, or anything in between. Abuse can be emotional, psychological, physical, or sexual. It can be silent, or even implied. But however it presents itself, our children need. to be aware of it and a part of this conversation. Only then can they feel confident and brave enough to not only recognize it, but to acknowledge it and to stand up against it. We must nurture our children, not exploit them. We must teach them that every human being has human rights. We all have value and potential. We all have merits, talents, and gifts to offer. These parts of us must be acknowledged, nurtured, and given the means to be realized and the freedom to take flight, or the consequences will be dire! When as a society we hinder the possibilities and potentials of our youth, we are stunting our own society from thriving and progressing as a species. When every element and core foundation that makes up a society has become corrupt, it is no longer useful to that society, and has failed. The horrors that humanity is faced with are a reflection of a failed system. This can result in us feeling emotional, drained, desperate, and discouraged. But that's when it's even more important that we stand together in solidarity and stand up against those abuses. When we stand united is when our true power as a society will be realized and make a meaningful positive impact. When we lose hope, remember that no one is alone, because we are all in this together! All you have to do is remember what you truly value, and then fight for it! I hope this guide will help children to lead us to a better and brighter future, because I see their potential and their value. The cycles of abuse can be replaced with healthy values when we help children to understand what the patterns of abuse are, how to establish personal boundaries, and how to communicate their boundaries in a healthy and safe way. By enabling children with these skills, we can transition to a new system that works for all of us. If we each learn our true value and dare to be unique, anything is possible! Let children be our champions for a better tomorrow!
