OverviewThis research is structured by analysing what the two main Public Health journals say, after ten years since the enactment of Law No. 11.340 of 2006 (Maria da Penha Law/LMP). This was followed by a literature review, structuring and summarising the main results. This typology made it possible to reflect on advances, challenges and the context of knowledge production in the face of the effective implementation of the MPL. The results of this discussion made me reflect on who this woman is? What does she want? What can she do? In this context, the second writing takes place. Through the mapping of a foreigner in public health, I propose reterritorialisation as a possible path after episodes of violence. I build my toolbox as a public health researcher as a way of structuring my trajectory. The cartographic narrative shows the displacement from one territory to another, the affectations of some references that constitute a way of looking at the context of domestic violence against women and overcoming it.
