This book will assist you to identify the significant areas of your organization and determine how healthy those areas are as well as outline an effective method of making required corrections. An organization's health is measured by accurate feedback from your employees and clients. Now as perhaps never before, we have become aware that the success of an organization is directly dependent on the effective use of human resources based on behavioral sciences. This feedback includes the management and leadership of all types of organizations such as business, not-for-profit, schools and even families. By skills and tools, I am referring to the theories and tools we use, in this book, to demonstrate how one can work with clients and employees. This book is about how and when to effectively handle a given situation along with the tools & skills required to implement the change. These tools have been proven over twenty-five years with organizations of various sizes, from five to twelve hundred employees. I have implemented these tools, with success, throughout my educational enhancement consulting services. It is important to note that these tools are designed to be used not as a one-time event but rather on a regular practice. The ongoing use of these tools also guards against reacting to problems in an emotional way but rather talking about performance problems in a rational way based on an agreed upon standard. This book is divided into two parts. Part one deals with the performance of an organization and part two deals with the performance of the individual employee. Both parts are aimed at establishing accountability and open communication.
