Overview?Dimensions. Journal of Architectural Knowledge? is an academic journal in, on, and from the discipline of architecture, addressing the creation, constitution, and transmission of architectural knowledge. It explores methods genuine to the discipline and architectural modes of interdisciplinary methodological adaptions. Processes, procedures, and results of knowledge creation and practice are esteemed coequally, with particular attention to the architectural design and epistemologies of aesthetic practice and research. ?Collaborations: Rethinking Architectural Design?, Issue 05/2023, explores how collaboration impacts the processes, tools, and methods of design by examining the conditions of its integration into architectural practice and discourse. Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationElettra Carnelli is a doctoral candidate at the ETH Zurich and a researcher at ZHAW (Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften). Federico Marcolini, born in 1985, works as a research fellow at Politecnico di Milano University in Milan. He did his Ph.D. in architecture design and theory at Politecnico di Milano. From 2016 he is collaborating within several design studio courses at Politecnico di Milano - Polo Territoriale di Mantova. In 2020 he worked as visiting professor at the University of Applied Science of Kaiserslautern teaching Ideal Stadt Theorie. His research focuses on architecture design in historical context, postwar architecture and railway architecture heritage. Fabio Marino, born in 1988, received his PhD in Architecture, History and Project from Politecnico di Torino (2019) and currently teaches and conducts research at the Politecnico di Milano as Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His interests of research are contemporary architecture focusing on both its connection to Italian Design, and cultural and professional migrations between Italy and the American continent during the twentieth century. Rafael Sousa Santos, born in 1991, has been a PhD candidate at the University of Porto since 2017, a Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) fellow, and a researcher at Center for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism in the Digital Fabrication Laboratory group.
