OverviewReturning back to school after Covid-19 closures may bring anxiety and uncertainty to students as they walk through the front doors. Their school-as they knew it in the spring- will look different and students need to know they are safe and cared for by everyone in the school. Inside this book is a plethora of opportunities to teach Social Emotional Learning (SEL) through children's own experiences and reactions to the questions. Each page ends with a rhyming statement to support ideas they come up with and reinforce new school procedures. Don't miss any details in the illustrations that may spark discussions around diversity and inclusion. Although children may see new and Different Faces, they will be welcomed with smiles, in all cases.
