This book is a seminal work on the Dhatupatha of Panini, Roots of the Sanskrit Language. It contains Sanskrit text and English commentary. It includes Accents and Meanings. A. Verb Conjugation Tables are given for the 10 Lakaras prominent in literature. 1. Laṭ 2. Laṅg 3. Loṭ 4. VLiṅg 5. LṚt 6. LṚiṅg 7. Luṭ 8. ĀśīrLiṅg 9. Liṭ 10. LUṅg लट् लङ् लोट् विधिलिङ् लृट् लृङ् लुट् आशीर्लिङ् लिट् लुङ् Present Tense, Imperfect Past Tense, Imperative Mood, Potential Mood, Simple Future Tense, Conditional Mood, Periphrastic Future Tense, Benedictive Mood, Perfect Past Tense, Aorist. B. 3x3 Parasmaipada and Atmanepada Verb Spelling Tables are given for all Roots of 10c. For Ubhayepadi dhatus, both Parasmaipada and Atmanepada forms are listed. Since there are many पक्षे 1c forms due to Optional णिच् in 10c, these are also listed. C. Relevant Ashtadhyayi Sutra is indicated whenever a dhatu is complex to conjugate. D. The entire book is arranged in the correct Dhatupatha order as per standard editions, viz. Siddhanta Kaumudi. Hence locating any Root is simple and accurate. All 1943 Dhatus have been covered in correct Panini order in 3 Volumes. Tables for each and every Dhatu are given without asking the Reader to refer a previous Root. Beautifully formatted index as in standard books and also index of dhatus with tags makes it easy to locate any dhatu precisely. The commentary is lucid for use in Grammar Schools and Vedanta Gurukuls. The correct spelling for each Verb in three persons and numbers makes it a much sought for Edition. Panini - circa 600 BC, was a Linguist, Grammarian, Programmer, Sage and Visionary. His magnum opus - Ashtadhyayi - describing the Vyakarana of the Sanskrit language remains till date the most complete and authoritative work in this regard.
