Dr. Avanish Kumar Srivastava is Director, CSIR-Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute, Bhopal. He received his master’s degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (UOR), Roorkee; M.Tech. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur; and doctorate metallurgy from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He serves as Expert for nanoscale measurements and instrumentation at ISO and BIS. He was instrumental in establishing the high-resolution electron microscopy and spectroscopy facilities at CSIR-NPL New Delhi and AMPRI Bhopal.
