He is a registered professional engineer in the province of Ontario, Canada, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Mehdi Bennis is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), University of Oulu, Finland. Previously he worked as a research engineer at IMRA-EUROPE and was a visiting researcher at the Alcatel-Lucent Chair on Flexible Radio, SUPELEC. Rath Vannithamby leads a team responsible for 5G and Internet of Things research at Intel Labs and was previously a researcher at Ericsson.
