Overview"In 2008, Jodi Arias murdered Travis Alexander. The investigation, Jodi's arrest and the following convoluted trial, drew international attention. The airways blew up. Girlfriend kills boyfriend, is not exactly big news. Regrettably, it happens almost every day. The public's interest in Jodi was unheralded. Every news show, every talk show, every blog, reported on her case and they did so every day. The daily news-talk shows went into great depth, with crime reporters and panel discussions with experts and supposed experts. This went on, day in and out, and the coverage lasted for months. Jodi starred in several hour-long interview programs, where she went to great dramatic lengths, to proclaim her innocence. She told us that she wasn't even in Arizona when Travis was murdered and ""God knew who the real killers were and he knew she was innocent."" Later, she said she was there, at the murder scene, and barely escaped from the real killers. Even later, she admitted that she did kill Travis, stabbed him 27 times, shot him in the head and cut his throat but it was ""in self-defense."" Something was very odd about this case and the public knew it. It wasn't the murder. It was the murderer. Their interest was in Jodi. Her odd behavior, her demeanor, her manner of speech, her incessant lying, and much more. She shot him in the head, stabbed him 27 times and then cut his throat from ear to ear. He was fully conscious, on hands and knees, slowly crawling away from Jodi, when she cut his throat. She had always denied cutting his throat. She just couldn't remember because a ""fog"" clouded her mind. On the day of her sentencing, in the courtroom, the ""fog"" lifted. Her memory suddenly returned. She proclaimed to the judge, ""Travis was fully conscious when I slit his throat."" How could she be so heartless and cruel, and say those words to his surviving family members that filled the court room? Why did she brag about it in court? What kind of person could do that? What kind of person is she? The explanations to those questions, and 100's more, are found within the pages of this book. The murder, the investigation and the trial, are presented in extensive detail. Relevant psychological theories are discussed with an emphasis on psychopathology. Written by clinicians, well-published, peer-reviewed researchers, and experts on psychopathology. This book is published under the umbrella of Analytical Media, so as to protect the authors from a repeat of the harassment and death threats, previously received from Jodi Arias fans. Anyone familiar with this case has been left with many unanswered questions. This book will provide you those answers."
