Overview"This book deals with (30) creatures, components of the domestic and the semi-domestic environments around us ranging from bacteria, fungi, worms, insects, reptiles, birds, mammals and trees. These are mostly located in the African Savannah belt but also found in similar settings in other continents. These sections or creatures are neither too wild as hyenas and leopards, nor too spoiled as dogs and parrots and nor too harmful as mosquitoes, rats and scorpions. The book casts some light on these ""representatives"" creatures and highlights their ""anonymous"" roles; and we fear of their extinction or migration. Albeit, it might be too late for some of them. These sections can be regarded as marginal, but they have missions in our ecosystem. I address these roles in a way that is easy, dramatized with funny tales, myths and legends of various nations and peoples. Sometimes the book addresses- directly- the painful breaches of rights to these sections such as the cutting of an aged 400 years-old rare tree just to build a classroom or something like that, or to convert a beautiful natural site into a residential neighborhood with narrow and dirty streets!"
