She received her MFA degree from Emerson College and her BFA from Emerson College. She has taught for Lesley University and the Tufts Extension School, as well as in the Institute of Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies at Emerson College. Mia Barron has worked at theaters in New York and around the country. Her film and television credits include The Guiding Light and the independent feature The F Word.
