Dr Tim Dowley is a historian who has written widely on church history and Christian music. Recent titles include Christian Music: A Global History (SPCK, 2018), Atlas of Christian History (Fortress, 2016), Atlas of the European Re­formations (Fortress, 2015), Johann Sebastian Bach (Omnibus, 2014) and Introduction to the History of Christianity (Fortress, 2013).
