Table of ContentsReviewsWe highly recommend the Dear Little Ones books to anyone who has an experience of multiplicity. - The Stronghold System, founders of The Plural Association Nonprofit I just love this book! Jade explains things to her inner child parts in words they can understand and treats them with such tender respect. She tells them they are good and blameless and wonderful and assures them that they have choices. If everybody treated both inner and outer children this way, the world would be so much better in just one generation. - Jean Riseman, MSW When working as a therapist, I was introduced to Dear Little Ones. All children love it when someone reads to them, and internal little ones are no different. The book is a gift to internal little ones of people with Dissociative Identity Disorder. It is written and illustrated in such a gentle and sensitive way that it helps them to understand and accept how they came to be. - Gill Frost, Med, Psychodynamic Counselling, author of The Girls Within When I found this book, it made us cry. Jade explained how to deal with angry alters, self-blame, and choosing to grow up (or not). Most of all, this book gave me the knowledge that someone really, finally understood! Jade, thank you so much for this life changing book. - Sloan Rene Smith Author Information"Jade Miller was born in east Tennessee. She is a survivor of ritual abuse and human trafficking, peer support worker, trauma recovery support group facilitator and author. Jade has been writing since she was a young child, illustrating her own stories and winning writing awards in elementary school all the way through high school. She studied writing and editing in college, and made her publishing debut with the first Dear Little Ones book in 2015. Two additional Dear Little Ones books followed, as well as an ebook on attachment theory. Her books have been translated into several languages and have received international attention and praise from trauma survivors and therapists. She is also working on her first novel and a memoir. Jade believes that the idea of one single cohesive ""personality"" is mostly a social construct. She suspects that universal multiplicity is much more likely-the concept that every person is a collection of self-states, and their upbringing and life experiences determine the level of awareness and cooperation between those self-states. Jade is a peer support worker to people who identify as multiple or plural and/or have Dissociative Identity Disorder. She also offers education for mental health professionals drawing from her lived experiences and a private social media group for other multiples.
