Author Information

Karley Henderson grew up in Missouri, knowing that she wanted to make a difference in the world. She now resides in Illinois with her husband and two daughters. Both children were born with medical complexities. It was at this time that Karley truly saw the lack of representation and inclusion there was in the world. She did not want her children growing up this way, she knew there needed to be a change and that she was going to be a part of it. This feeling pushed Karley to begin writing for representation and education through articles and children's books. She believes that every child and adult should feel represented and proud of who they are. She strives to end the stigma on mental health and disabilities. Karley writes to help others feel seen and educate society on how diverse we truly are.
