Overview

"This is a comprehensive guide to law and ethics for pharmacy practice in the UK. ""Dale and Appelbe's Pharmacy Law and Ethics"" has become established as the standard student textbook and reference work on this subject in the UK. A knowledge of pharmacy law is a substantial and compulsory component of the undergraduate and pre-registration pharmacy syllabus in the UK and changes to the syllabus and practice require the text to be updated regularly. This revised edition provides a comprehensive guide to the law that affects the practice of pharmacy and the use of medicines in Great Britain, and complete coverage of the pharmacy undergraduate and pre-registration syllabus and British law relating to medicines and poisons."

Reviews

An excellent introduction... I found the book an excellent introduction to an area of healthcare law often overlooked by the legal profession. Pharmacy Law and Ethics clearly outlines the legal and ethical duties of the pharmacist within the British legal system... The book is well written and can be easily understood by both students and those with more than a passing interest in the field of pharmacy law.' Amazon.co.uk '...probably the best reference for practitioners in Great Britain. I would also strongly recommend it to those of us interested in some fresh ideas about comparative healthcare systems derived from the practice of pharmacy within the UK.' Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology 2002; 18 (May/June): 163
