Author Information

Eleanor Byrne is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Science Education at Sheffield Hallam University. She specialises in cross-curricular learning and has written and developed cross-curricular classroom resources for the Astra Zeneca Science Teaching Trust and delivers training to Science and Humanities teachers on cross-curricular teaching. Marilyn Brodie is a Principal Lecturer in Science Education at the Centre for Science Education, Sheffield Hallam University. She has almost 40 years experience in science education having been a secondary school science teacher, a further and higher education lecturer and teacher educator. She has worked on a range of national and international curriculum development and education research projects.
