Dr. Carla Leejay is a graduate of Capella University. She obtained her Doctorate of Education degree with the emphasis of Educational Leadership and Management. In addition, she holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Dillard University, a master's degree in Journalism from the UALR, and a second master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from UTA. She has served in various roles within K-12 such as a Secondary Math Interventionist, Educational Diagnostician, MST Algebra 1 teacher, Lead ESL teacher, and a Resource Geometry and Math Models teacher. She currently works as an Assessment Specialist for a school district in Lewisville, TX. She is a lover of technology and believes that technology should be integrated within every lesson taught to students. She believes that students' minds should be cultivated and challenged daily. She currently resides in Lewisville, TX with her two daughters, Chloe and Janiah.
