After practicing law in the DC area, John worked for over a decade with a prominent Fortune 500 company delivering high-level presentations, webinars and seminars. In addition, John was a former actor for television and film, having acted in productions for The National Geographic Channel, The History Channel and HBO Productions. John is known to many sci-fi fans for his role as ""Young Lt. Cmdr Sulu,"" opposite legendary actor, George Takei, in the production of 'Star Trek: World and Enough and Time, ' written by Emmy Award(TM) winning screenplay writer, Michael Reeves. John's performance captured the attention of top Hollywood Casting Director, April Webster, which led to an audition for a role in the feature film, Star Trek (2009), directed by JJ Abrams. Today, John hosts the 'Moving Forward' podcast (www.bemovingforward.com) which has reached listeners in over 50 countries. Through Moving Forward, John has spoken with some of today's most inspiring entrepreneurs, artists and leaders. The goal of the show is to inspire listeners to find their career and/or entrepreneurial passions; letting them know that it is possible to do and achieve more. John teamed up with two creative, talented friends: Jenn L., a UX designer and strategist who doubles as an illustrator (Jenn was the mastermind behind the artwork), and Brian B., a former MBA classmate of John's and a finance whiz (who hears corporate clichés daily), to create the 'Corporate Clichés' adult coloring book. The idea came one night when the three of them were discussing the corporate clichés that annoyed them the most. A sideways conversation about adult coloring books led to the idea to create this coloring book as a way of providing much needed humor and stress relief for those working in corporate America (which Jenn and Brian still are, hence the reason why they chose to be semi-anonymous in their co-authorship!)."
