It's useless to describe Aira's books by what they're about. Instead, better to say he attempts to discuss many diverse topics from the place of a doubtful, conscious, and subjective voice. Author Information

César Aira is a writer and translator. Since 1992 he has published between two and four books a year, often short novels. In 1996 he received a Guggenheim fellowship. In 2014 he won the Roger Caillois Prize for Latin American authors.
