Rineer-Hershey is an associate professor in the Special Education Department at Slippery Rock University, where she coordinates the department's doctoral program and teaches courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Millersville University, a master's degree in special education from Eastern Mennonite University, and a Ph.D. from Robert Morris University in instructional management and leadership in education.
