Overview

Environmental Studies book makes the people aware about the importance of environment, possible threats and the measures required for protecting it. It is in accordance with the syllabus laid down by U.G.C. for all undergraduate courses in different disciplines. Professor Balaram Pani, Principal, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, University of Delhi and Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi, is a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher, researcher and an able administrator. He is currently also the Director, Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi. He has more than twenty five years of experience in various fields of environmental, polymeric, biological and instrumentation sciences. Dr Pani has authored and co-authored more than a dozen books. Professor Namita Rajput is currently Professor in Commerce, Sri Aurobindo College (Morning). She has earlier served as the Principal (OSD) at Sri Aurobindo College (Evening), University of Delhi for a term of 3 years (2017-2020) and has an enriching experience as Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, Sri Aurobindo College (Morning) since December 1, 1995. She has authored several books and has also published her research papers in numerous national and international journals. Dr. Shivani G. Varmani is an Associate Professor in Biomedical Science department of Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, University of Delhi since 2005. She obtained her Masters in Biotechnology and Ph.D in Biochemistry from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi. She has published a number of research papers in many national and international journals of repute. Dr. Ritu Khosla is Assistant Professor in Department of Biomedical Science, Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi. Previously she has taught at Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida for almost four years and has also worked as a Research Scientist at Jubilant Organosys Ltd, Gajraula. She has many research publications to her credit in international journals of high repute in the field of cancer and immunology.
