Initially, like so many karate practitioners, his martial arts were all about rank exams and karate competitions. However, his interest in the area soon widened, finding that the world of martial arts was enjoyable from a practical point of view as well as fascinating from a historical and geographical development aspect. He founded Just Karate, which is a martial arts school based in Cambridge, England. Here he has inspired numerous students through his teachings.
