Author Information

The author was born and raised in Venice and continues to live there. In 1998, he published Gli Indoeuropei e le Acque (The Indo-Europeans and the Waters), which was put out by Editoria Universitaria. In 2005, Palombi Editori published his l'Origine delle lingue Indoeuropee. Struttura e genesi della lingua madre del sanscrito, del greco e del latino (The Origins of Indo-European Languages. Structure and Genesis of the Mother Tongue of Sanskrit, Greek and Latin) in which he describes the constructive method followed by Indo-European grammarians in the formation of the verb roots of their first language and, over the course of 13 chapters, he describes how the hymns of the Rg-Veda reveal to us that, in the original homeland of our progenitors, the solar year was made up of only seven or eight months, thus confirming the theory posited by G.B. Tilak in his The Arctic Home in the Vedas. Now, in this dictionary, the author re-evokes the sounds of ancient Indo-European words that have given life to a culture without equal.
