Author Information

Duard Slattery has a BA in psychology from Stanford, and an MS in engineering from San Diego State. After the BA in psychology, and subsequent jobs as a ranch hand, taxi driver, animal trainer, and real estate salesperson, Slattery returned to college for a degree in engineering, financed by student jobs and student loans. He is now semi-retired from a successful career in engineering analysis and related software development for power plants and military vehicles. He is working on several books and splits his time between homes in Los Altos, Tahoe, and San Diego.
