Kadya Tall is an anthropologist and is Senior Researcher at Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement - Institut des mondes africains (Imaf), Paris. She works on the cultural productions of the South Atlantic world, Religions and heritage and wrote Le candomble de Bahia, miroir baroque des melancholies postcoloniales (2012). Kadya Tall est anthropologue et chercheuse a l'Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement - Institut des mondes africains (Imaf), Paris. Ses recherches portent sur les productions culturelles de l'Atlantique Sud, les religions et le patrimoine. Elle est l'auteur de Le candomble de Bahia, miroir baroque des melancolies postcoloniales (2012). Michel Cahen is CNRS Senior Researcher at Sciences Po Bordeaux, Centre Les Afriques dans le monde , and historian on colonial Portuguese history. His last book (with E. Morier-Genoud) is Imperial Migrations. Colonial Communities and Diaspora in the Portuguese World (Palgrave, 2012). Michel Cahen est chercheur CNRS a Sciences Po Bordeaux, au Centre Les Afriques dans le monde , historien et specialiste de l'histoire coloniale portugaise. Son dernier ouvrage (avec E. Morier-Genoud) est Imperial Migrations. Colonial Communities and Diaspora in the Portuguese World (Palgrave, 2012). Marie-Emmanuelle Pommerolle, is a political scientist and Senior Lecturer at Paris1-Sorbonne, affiliated to l'Institut des mondes africains (Imaf). She is currently director of the French Institute of Research in Africa (IFRA) based in Nairobi. Marie-Emmanuelle Pommerolle, est maitre de conference en science politique a l'Universite Paris 1- Pantheon Sorbonne, et chercheuse a l'Institut des mondes africains (Imaf). Elle est actuellement directrice de l'Institut francais de recherches en Afrique (IFRA) a Nairobi.
