W. Barksdale Maynard is the author of eight books, including Artists of Wyeth Country: Howard Pyle, N.C. Wyeth, and Andrew Wyeth (2021). His publications on architecture include Buildings of Delaware in the Buildings of the United States series, Architecture in the United States, 1800-1850, and Princeton: America's Campus. He has taught the history of art and architecture at Johns Hopkins University, Princeton University, and elsewhere.
