OverviewIn Volume 25, we consider theoretical general relativistic modifications to the Christmas Tree Sails contemplated in previous volumes in this series. More specifically we explore solutions particular to uncharged and charged non-rotating differential masses modeled to be spherical, and uncharged and charged rotating differential masses modeled to be spherical for which said masses are considered collectively to comprise a spacecraft and sail of arbitrary shape, size, and mass density profile. Such general relativistic treatment becomes necessary for cases where a spacecraft and light-sail such as the ones conjectured to their extremes in this series approach densities for which gravitational flux emanating from these spacecraft systems approaches that of stellar white dwarfs. These corrections are necessary because at the extreme relativistic Lorentz factors proposed for spacecraft performance, a slight energy imbalance and miscalculation can result in mission failure and spacecraft obliteration in a near instant. The attractive winter scene depicted on the front cover it true to the Christmas spirit as the holidays of multiple prominent faiths come and pass near year's end. Space sailing can be fun and awesomely celebratory as we contemplate travel amongst the stars and galaxies in a bold future unbounded with opportunities for eternal exploration and evolution in charity.
