Overview

The word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path as it is written in Psalm 119:105. Christian/Godly children need not to be aware of this alone but to purposely devote their time to studying the word of God even from childhood. When they study, their spiritual knowledge is enhanced, thereby presenting a true reflection of their prayer life, leading them to spiritual growth in Christ. Also, their spiritual development gradually becomes sharpened to the taste of their Heavenly Father.This handbook encourages children age 6 and above to separate themselves to pray 3 times a day for 28days at first and continue to pray thereafter. Children who are 6-8years are encouraged to spend 3 - 5 minutes and children age 8 and above are encouraged to spend an average of 7 - 10minutes doing the same. This inspiration is birthed by the Holy Spirit and Daniel in the Bible also prayed 3 times a day. Helping children to succeed in life requires intense effort on the part of their parents/guardians. Many parents do really want to support their children but lack resources. These resources include their time and strength. Spending everything possible to support our children's education without adequate time effort to bring them to the knowledge of Christ affects their holistic future. Sunday school teachers can only do much but the major responsibilities rest in the hand of parents, especially mothers.
