Overview

Chief Bully Buster Training Manual is a workbook style learning tool that is intended to promote conversations between children and trusted adults. The first half of the book is the children's workbook section and the second half are the teacher/parent guide. The student will learn how to identify possible bullying situations, how to respond to a bully, and how to establish healthy boundaries to prevent bullying before it starts. The book is intended for children in the elementary grades. Younger elementary aged students may need reading help from a grown up.

Author Information

Jennifer M. Rodriguez was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She has worked with children since she earned her Babysitter's Certification at the age of twelve. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a BS degree in Elementary Education, and went on to teach middle school and fourth grade in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She presented some of her groundbreaking bully prevention ideas at the 2012 National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Jennifer now lives in San Antonio, Texas with two daughters, one son, three silly dogs, two turtles, two fish, and one very patient husband.
