"A few words on the making of this book. It all started as a loud a few comrades of the ""UNTOUCHABILITY ERADICATION FRONT "" in Tamil Nādu. It was decided to invite Shri P.S.Krishnan, an outstanding champion of the oppressed and exploited sections of Indian society to a workshop that was to be held in August 2013. This paper was presented by Shri by P.S. Krishnan, IAS (Retd.) at the Workshop on Dalit Liberation organized in Chennai by Tamil Nadu Untouchability Eradication Front on 10-11 August, 2013. He has presented this document on the Abolition of Caste as an amendment to the Indian Constitution. It was not just a declaration; he illuminated us by several readings and also proposed programs which would uplift the oppressed sections of the society. Later on, after returning back to Delhi, he has sent several materials updating it further, which was published subsequently first in Tamil in 2017 after editing and translating the same. The Tamil version of the paper was released at Chennai in the presence of P.S.Krishnan on Jan.8, 2017, . Now we are publishing the English version of the Book to enable the activists of social justice get encouraged to disseminate the message of P.S. Krishnan across other Indian languages. This book narrates the various programs, schemes, and laws that exists for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes which are yet to be implemented or needs further enhancement and strengthening. We hope this book will help in mobilizing the democratic sections of the society towards the delivery of social justice. South Vision Books 12.04.2021"
