I had so much fun this summer reading books by Anthony Barbera. Catching Baby Moses, the third book, was more than I expected! I wasn't sure what to expect from the title of the book, but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the game of football (waiting for August can be rough for me!). This book was full of football! The main character is a teenage boy whose life you wouldn't give to your worst enemy. Through no fault of his own, he is left to basically fend for himself. The hero is a former professional football player who takes him under his wing (although reluctantly) because the boy can play football! I love the lessons each of them learns, even the most difficult lessons! (There are some lessons that make you very proud of this young man!) As with the other works by Anthony Barbera, one is drawn into the lives of each of the characters. This book is so good you wonder why someone hasn't made a movie of it yet! This is a story of honor, strength, and the intestinal fortitude of both the young man and his football mentor. I cried at the end. GREAT BOOK! Linda Joyce 5 Star Amazon Review
