Author Information

Blagovesta M. Momchedjikova is a Performance Studies scholar and a Senior Language Lecturer at New York University where she teaches writing, art, and the city. She is the guest-editor of Streetnotes: Urban Feel. Her work has appeared in The Everyday of Memory: Between Communism and Postcommunism, Robert Moses and the Modern City, The Journal of American and Comparative Cultures, Tourist Studies, Streetnotes, Genre: Imagined Cities, and PIERS. She chairs the area of Urban Culture for the Mid-Atlantic Popular and American Culture Association (MAPACA) and leads specialized tours of the Panorama of the City of New York scale model in the Queens Museum of Art.
