He graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a B.S. in Marine Transportation, then obtained a Masters Degree in Business from Lesley University. While at MMA, he sailed on the Bay State, the CV Lightning, and the TS Mobil Lube. His books include the Cape Safety, Inc. - Danger Dogs Series--a collection of five novels detailing the exciting lives of a top-notch safety consulting firm based out of Woods Hole, Massachusetts. He is also the author of the non-fiction Deep Sea Decisions, an exposéeacute; on myriad reasons why ships go down. He and his wife have written seven screenplays entitled Cape Car Blues (soon to be out as a novel), Freeport Fred's Valiant Summer, Golf Cart Ranger, Plimsoll, Training Ship, What We Can't Know, and Get Together.
