Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationTony Squire was born in England but, being the son of a professional soldier, and eventually a soldier himself, has spent a large proportion of his life travelling the World, living in England, Germany, Malaya, Singapore, New Zealand and finally settling down in Australia. In his childhood years he attended 16 different schools, but survived to tell the tale. At the age of 12 he was told by a fortune teller that one day he would be a best selling author. This prediction stayed with him and became a reality when he started writing stories for children and teens based on mythology, magic, fantasy and adventure. His main character is Buckley the Yowie, Australia's Bigfoot. He is a friendly fellow with many tales to tell, and many historical characters to meet. The Buckley stories are for children, teens and adults, from picture book readers for early learners, short stories for 8 to 18 year olds, to novels for older kids and even adults. To date Tony has written fourteen Buckley the Yowie stories, including this one, as well as two books in the brand new Little Timmy series. Tony hopes that you enjoy reading his reading books, short stories and novels, as much as he has enjoyed writing them.
