Jean Jacques Machado is a defense tactics consultant to the Los Angeles Police Department, an instructor for the Navy Seals, and the author of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Techniques. He is a sixth-degree black belt and the head instructor at the RCJ Machado Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Tarzana, California. He lives in Los Angeles. Kid Peligro holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is the winner of two World Masters titles. He is a columnist for both Gracie and Grappling magazines and the co-author of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Self-Defense Techniques, Submission Grappling Techniques, and Superfit. He lives in San Diego.
