Author Information

Shirley Raye Redmond is an award-winning writer and newspaper columnist. Her book Patriots in Petticoats: Heroines of the American Revolution was named one of the best children's books of 2004 by the Bank Street College of Education in New York. She is also a part-time instructor for the Institute of Children's Literature, a sought-after workshop speaker, and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. John Patrick Walsh is an experienced on-screen, theatre, and voiceover actor as well as an audiobook narrator. He studied improv in Los Angeles while performing in several plays, including Ethos Theatre Company's production of Hamlet, in which he appeared as the Player King. His television roles began with General Hospital, and he has narrated a wide variety of audiobooks, including being part of the full cast for Phil Mickelson's bestselling sports memoir One Magical Sunday.
