""Woody"" Caine, Ph.D. A 1966 graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Woody received his Masters of Science and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees in Social Psychology and Organizational Behavior from the University of Florida in the mid 1970's. His academic career includes teaching a wide range of psychology, education and business management courses at a number of universities. Commissioned a Regular Army Infantry Officer in 1966, Colonel Caine served in Germany, Viet Nam and across the US in a variety of command and staff positions. He taught at the United States Military Academy at West Point, commanded two Reserve Officer Training Corps battalions, and served as the Inspector General for Fort Ord, CA and the 7th Infantry Division (Light). During his 26 years of active duty, Colonel Caine specialized in leadership education, strategic planning, training design, human resource management, and organizational effectiveness. He is the author of numerous professional articles and the creator of training workbooks and instructional videos. He received The William P. Clements Award as the Outstanding Military Educator for his service at the United States Military Academy.
