With Professor Chris Harris (Lancaster University) he has co-edited a special issue (2010) on cultural representations of masculinities and violence in Latin America, as well as the volume Men, Power and Liberation: Readings of Masculinities in Spanish American Literatures (2015). He also co-edited, with Dr Nick Hodgin (University of Cardiff) Scars and Wounds: Legacies of Trauma on Film (2017). Chris Harris is a semi-retired Professor of Modern Languages and Cultures and former Vice President of Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University in China. With Dr Amit Thakkar (Lancaster University) he has co-edited a special issue (2010) on cultural representations of masculinities and violence in Latin America, as well as the volume Men, Power and Liberation: Readings of Masculinities in Spanish American Literatures (2015). Brian Baker is Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University in the Department of English Literature and Creative Writing.
