"“Couldn't contain my giggles when I started reading Bertie and the Alien Chicken … Hilariously illustrated by Aleksei Bitskoff."" – Jo Clarke ""[A] wildly imaginative and heartfelt story … this wise, witty and wonderful adventure is truly out of this world!"" – Lancashire Evening Post ""Jenny Pearson manages once again to craft a story that is simultaneously funny and sensitive, filled with moments that will have readers laughing aloud and others that will make them stop and think. Her timing is superb and her understanding of the way children think and speak second to none."" – Books for Keeps ""A good-natured, laugh-out-loud story that, beneath the slapstick humour, has an important set of messages for young readers to engage with"" – The Letterpress Project ""Brimming with Jenny’s trademark humour and heart, this laugh-a-minute, saving-the-world, intergalactic farmyard caper is as funny and rib-tickling as it is wise and challenging."" – A Word About Books, Blog"

Jenny Pearson and Barrington Stoke was destined to be a formidable partnership... Brilliantly funny and genuinely insightful this wonderful little book asks some pretty deep questions about what it is to be human alongside a truly comic storyline. -- James Haddell, Author
