Author Information

"Larry Lalonde is a television writer and producer based in Ontario, Canada. His credits include the popular Canadian TV series Murdoch Mysteries and The Pinkertons, as well as series for the Syfy Network, Netflix, CBS, NBC and the CTV Network in Canada. ""Bennett the Runaway Duck"" is his third children's picture book collaboration with his wife and illustrator, Valerie Elmhirst. Valerie Elmhirst is an artist from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where she studied at the School of Art & Design, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. She currently works from her home studio in Ontario, Canada. Valerie illustrated the couple's previous picture books, ""Escape from the Mad Man"" (2019) and ""Appreciation Day!"" (2020)."
