Elaine G. Beautiful book. Cameron is dealing with a lot. An verbally abusive boyfriend that kicks him out of his home, anxiety, and depression. He doesn't want anyone to know that he's homeless, but he's determined to make it on his own. Dalcian is homeless, hiding from someone, shy, very sweet and Cameron takes him under his wing. The book is very emotional, deals with emotional and verbal abuse, physical abuse, a lot angst, but these two lost souls makes it work. Dalcian past catches up with him and he's taken from Cameron and they find their way back to each other. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put down. The author did a great job with this one and I'm looking forward to the next one. Kathryn M. Beneath the Grandstand by Amy-Alex Campbell is the second book in the Marsden Park Series. This is a well written, contemporary MM romance with interesting story and characters. While reading this book I was completely drawn into this story of two lost souls finding new beginnings and new love together. Emotional, serious, suspenseful... I was glued to the pages as the story unfolded. I highly recommend this reading experience. Joscelyn S. I was really drawn into the journey of the two emotionally battered characters. They were both lost and hurting when they found love in the unlikeliest of circumstances. Wonderfully engaging characters and a well-written storyline made this a very enjoyable read.
