OverviewPlant viruses are intracellular obligatory parasites made up of nucleoprotein and are responsible to cause disease in diverse plant species. Over a century, more than one thousand plant viruses have been known to reduce the yield and quality of horticultural, ornamental and vegetable crops worldwide.
