Author Information

A lifelong Florida surfer, Joe Pregadio is passionate about the environment and leaving a better world for his two daughters and future generations. Putting this passion into action, he is the founder of Be Ocean, an ocean advocacy movement, and Be Happy Walls, an organization that collects original artwork for distribution to underprivileged homes. He also volunteers at Best Buddies, which creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Joe Pregadio has a BA in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in education. He was formerly a corporate sales director, financial advisor, and licensed equity trader. Be Ocean is his second book. It will be used to promote a federal bill that would raise funds for ocean advocacy projects.
