OverviewAn awe-inspiring story of how one woman took on the financial establishment and founded the fast-growing digital bank, Starling After a lengthy career at the top of some of Britain's leading Banks, Anne Boden had become disillusioned with the status quo - the financial crash had broken trust in the whole sector and there seemed to be little appetite to make most of emerging technologies to revolutionise customer experience. Increasingly frustrated with the inertia, she decided to do something radical - she set up her own bank, Starling. In BANKING ON IT, Anne reveals the awe-inspiring story of how she broke through bureaucracy, tackled prejudice and successfully countered widespread suspicion to realise her vision for the future of consumer banking and, in doing so, trigger a new movement that would revolutionise the entire banking industry.
