Author Information

Karel Schoeman was one of South Africa's most productive authors and wrote numerous novels, short novels, plays and historical works. His work received many awards (also international) over the years. He passed away on 1 May 2017. M.D. Nash, on whose work the present book is based, was the author of Bailie's Party of 1820 Settlers; a collective experience in emigration (1982), and The Settler handbook; a new list of the 1820 settlers (1987).
