Baby Tom is on the Driveway is an enchanting, insightful and poignant story for every family member. It is memorable and meaningful, not just for the young child or toddler, but indeed for older children where dangers remain very real when playing or running behind cars, or near roads and driveways. It is a lovely story for adults to read to children, and for children to read to each other. Dr. Brenda Abbey, M.Ed. Ph.D. (Education) I was not surprised when I read this wonderful book Baby Tom Is on the Driveway to my four grandchildren aged between 2 and 10, that they were spellbound the whole time. What did surprise me is that my 8 year old grandson, for the first time, insisted reading it again to his younger sisters... and he dislikes reading! I was thrilled, and so were his parents. Dr. K. As well as the beautiful illustrations and the articulate clear language ( and of course the sheer enjoyment factor) there is a very important message in it for young children.
