Overview

Author Information

Lamont Robinson was born in Okinawa, Japan. As a military child, he experienced the privilege of living in many different places but grew up predominately in Southern California. During his childhood travels, Lamont was able to return to Okinawa for three years. It was during this time that his interest in the manga/anime style emerged. Lamont began drawing in his early childhood, developing a style influenced by both American comic books and Japanese manga. It wasn't until adulthood that he enrolled in art classes at the University of South Carolina Beaufort and was named the school's outstanding art student in 2006. Lamont published his debut comic book, Aura, in 2013.
